About This Project

Role: Develop an idea that increases donations to Goodwill | Who knew an empty box with a simple message could be so powerful? As the recession slammed through American households, donating goods was far from a priority. Donations are Goodwill’s lifeblood, and without them, there is no organization. The real problem was the consumer mindset, not a lack of goods. Empty boxes were delivered to consumers’ doorsteps, reminding them how close they were to the nearest store. More importantly, the simple act of receiving the box inspired Word of Mouth well beyond the initial targets.
